Thomas Smith's are the original makers of the famous Sussex Trug Basket.  There are lots of shapes and sizes in our collection for most jobs around the home.  There are, of course, Garden Trugs for collecting vegetables, picking fruit and carrying tools, but also special Flower Trugs with a shallower body, Fireside Log Trugs and even a Trug to hold a lovely bottle of wine on your dinner table.  Bowls are ideal for bread to pass around to guests at your table.  Something for every occasion.  We make the Royal Sussex Traditional Trugs crafted from sweet chestnut and cricket bat willow and the South Down Contemporary Trug which is made fro birch or gaboon ply and comes in a range of colours to the handle and rim.
